Alliance Française de Cork
Bienvenue au Festival de films français et francophones de Cork !
For the 35th edition of the Cork French Film Festival and in order to celebrate Francophonie Month, we are delighted to present a selection of 18 great films by French, Canadian and Belgian-Congolese directors, which include a family film as well as school screenings.
This year, as part of the programming team, we have endeavoured to mark several important anniversaries and events:
firstly, the forthcoming Olympics (which will take place in France this summer), with three films about sport; The 180th anniversary of the publication of Alexandre Dumas’s The Three Musketeers, with the first two parts of the movie adaptation of this famous French novel; Finally, we are delighted to screen a documentary by French film director Pascal Vuong about the D-Day which took place 80 years ago.
We would like to thank all audiences and sponsors who have been supporting the CFFF, and we wish a very warm welcome to all newcomers.
