Synopsis: This superbly animated film follows the dramatic journey of siblings Kyona and her brother Adriel, forced to flee when their small village, in an unspecified East European country, is attacked. The children embark on a heroic journey which takes them from childhood to adolescence in search of shelter, peace and the hope of finding their family. These courageous siblings survive incredible challenges, before reaching a new world, free at last. With her expressionist hand-painted animation, director Floren Miailhe, has created a unique and timely tale.
